Healthy Detox Green Soup Recipe

Detox Green Soup is packed with nutrient-rich green vegetables and herbs, making it a light, refreshing, and nourishing meal. This soup is nutritious and rich in nutrients. It provides natural detoxification to the body. These soups usually contain a variety of fresh vegetables, herbs, and spices rich in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Ingredients like leafy greens, broccoli, carrots, garlic, ginger, and turmeric are found in this soup which is very beneficial for us. These soups are low in calories and high in fiber. They are hydrating, and easy to digest.




Ingredients:

  • 2 cups spinach, roughly chopped

  • 1 cup kale or Swiss chard, roughly chopped

  • 1 cup broccoli florets

  • 1 small zucchini, diced

  • 1 medium onion, chopped

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 medium potato, peeled and diced (for creaminess)

  • 4 cups vegetable broth or water

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • Juice of 1 lemon

  • Salt and black pepper to taste

  • Fresh parsley or cilantro for garnish

Method of making Detox Green Soup

  • Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.

  • Add chopped onion and garlic and saute for 2-3 minutes until soft and fragrant.

  • Add zucchini, broccoli, spinach, kale (or Swiss chard), and potatoes (if using), mix well, and cook for a few minutes.

  • Add vegetable broth or water reduce heat to low and cover and cook for 10-15 minutes.

  • Once the vegetables are cooked, remove the pot from heat let it cool slightly, and blend the soup until smooth.

  • Put the soup back on the gas and add lemon juice, salt, and pepper to taste. Mix well and bring to a boil once.

  • Serve the soup in bowls and garnish with fresh coriander leaves and lemon juice.
