How to make Pizza sandwich

Pizza sandwich is a way of making pizza in a different form. It is very easy to make. It is a quick snack. You can add vegetables of your choice in it. This gives you the nutrition of all the vegetables. With less butter and less oil you can make this sandwich more healthy. Let's see how it is made:



Ingredients to make Pizza sandwich:

  • 12 slices of bread (white, whole wheat, or multigrain)

  • 1 1/2 cups pizza sauce (store-bought or homemade)

  • 1 1/2 cups shredded vegan cheese

  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped

  • 1 medium bell pepper, finely chopped

  • 1/2 cup corn kernels (boiled or canned)

  • 1 small tomato, finely chopped

  • 1/2 teaspoon roasted garam masala

  • 1/2 teaspoon roasted cumin powder

  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning or dried oregano

  • 1 teaspoon red chili flakes

  • 2 tablespoons vegan butter (for toasting)

  • Salt to taste


How to make Pizza sandwich

Method to make Pizza Sandwich:

  • First of all we prepare the bread. For this, apply a little butter on one side of each slice of bread and toast it.

  • To make pizza sandwich stuffing, put some butter in a pan, add onion, tomato, capsicum and corn and fry it well.

  • When it is fried a little, add garam masala, cumin, carom seeds and chili flakes and mix well.

  • After a while, take it off the gas and your pizza sandwich stuffing is ready.

  • If you want, you can add raw vegetables directly to the bread. Grate cheese on top of it and add oregano and chili flakes. cover the sandwich with other slice of bread and toast the sandwich well from both sides in the pan.

  • To make pizza sandwich, apply pizza sauce on the toasted part of the bread, place pizza stuffing on it and put cheese on top and cover it with another slice of bread.

  • Heat a non-stick pan and place the sandwich on it. Toast the sandwich from both sides or until the cheese melts.

  • When the cheese melts, take out the pizza sandwich. If you want, you can add oregano and chili flakes on top.

  • You can make this pizza sandwich even healthier by adding toppings like cheese, tofu or cooked lentils.

  • Experiment with different sauces like pesto, hummus or chutney to make it even more delicious!
